Violent crime in Arizona has gone down the last four reported years, from 2005 to 2008. The total drop was 13 percent.

Furthermore, while much has been made about kidnappings in Arizona, law-enforcement officials indicate that most of these involve drug and human smugglers, as well as smuggled immigrants themselves - not the general population of the state.

So let me get this straight.....If we got rid of 10 million illegals that would NOT translate into jobs for American citizens?

Is there a good head count of how many illegals aren't criminals? Counting the fact that illegal makes one a criminal, of course. I just read a sign that one illegal carried in the May 5 parade about how America owes them all the things that citizens have and in a different color said that they would begin killing policemen if they didn't get what we owe them.
I was just wondering how many of them aren't criminals the minute they step over that border without permission.

However, attempting to say that illegal immigration will affect a majority of Americans employment wise with the majority of illegal immigrants is simply ludicrous. Unless your employment field is within the construction-manual labor to the under $10/hr sector your employment prospects are not in danger.
With the laws and regulations already on the books and if enforced those sectors as well would be protected.

If you think that 10 million American jobs are working in construction and manual labor positions especially with the current economic condition would somehow magically alleviate the jobs situation, you're on crack.

Hell I just read a sign over the weekend from a supposed American citizen that America was a Christian nation and that our Constitution outlaws all other religions.
There are always wackos and those who feel entitled, but those aren't the majority nor are they usually the case. Those who engage is violent crime as the stats show are not the norm.

Simply not true. First off, ask any gardener in California how much they really make and you will find it is at least $10/hr. and often more. Same thing with Nannies. Also, think supply and demand. The fewer available workers available = the higher the wages will be. There definitely would be more jobs and less unemployment for American Citizens if the Government would enforce the Laws with regard to Illegals.
