If we don't right the boat soon, we'll take on too much water and we'll all sink and drown.

"Essentially, this guts San Francisco's sanctuary ordinance in terms of criminal justice," San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey told The Chronicle on Wednesday.

<<Gavin found his nut sack - yay!>>

Well, actually he's running for governor, so it's more likely he found more potential voters among anti-illegal alien advocates, than among their supporters. Amazing how the thought of votes, or lack thereof, will change a politician's mind. I don't believe for one minute he's changed his mind about SF being a sanctuary city.

While this policy has some city leaders worried about an end run around the sanctuary status, San Francisco's Mayor says the policy was never designed to protect criminal behavior. Federal officials say from October to March, nearly two million fingerprints were submitted for a cross check resulting in 212 thousand matches and 56 thousand immigration arrests or holds, many of those detainees are expected to be deported.---

Gavin found his nut sack - yay! And I wonder why they wrote 212,000 and 56,000 that way - did they want to make the numbers seem trivial to someone just skimming the article?
The article was very short and probably on page 32, but hey, it was there!
Americans are tired! The more we find out how much we spend on those from another country siphoning our hard earned money and we lose more and more of our stuff, we stop it. I've seen more and more liberals turn against illegal aliens and this administration as a clear message to stop this. Like I always say, you might mess with me, but don't mess with my money.

This thought process of the current administration and votes always tickles me. There was a reason why most Americans voted for him, simply a lesser of two evils was the thought. The hispanic vote had nothing to do with it, but perhaps on a more local level it does.
