How do you go from me and most Americans objecting to illegal immigration to believing our culture is better than others and not being accepting of others? You do realize that we have been an ethnically/racially diverse country since our country's founding, don't you? You do know this is about illegal immigration and not legal immigrants or citizens, don't you?

To build a fence to keep out illegal aliens, terrororists and criminals is not being accepting? Oh my God, I can't believe such a statement could come out of the mouth of any sane human being!

We need to secure the borders. What concerns me the most is we have no idea who has snuck into our country. Here in the US we have laws requiring child molesters to stay away from schools, parks, etc, and we keep track of them. How many child molesters have snuck across the border that we don't know about? How many are working as landscapers or janitors at our schools? How many terrorists could come across the border? That's why it needs to be shut down. It's scary.

Easiest solution to "illegals" - - - eliminate all the things that make it more desirable to hire them.
[] Eliminate national socialism and the taxes associated with it.
[] Eliminate administrative overhead.
[] No taxes levied on productive laborers or businesses.

Of course, no politician would commit to such a platform, for fear of the wrath of the recipients.

Nancy P. is correct in her belief that the nation cannot really be divested of the undocumented worker - because a majority of American businesses that rely on them would collapse under the strain of socialist overhead. And THAT would be catastrophic, as well as revealing.

No nation can long endure taxing its producers for the benefit of the consumers and parasites in government. The "Host" will die from the multitude of "flea bites".

No, those businesses that hire illegal aliens would not collapse because there is a legal, citizen workforce available. They would just have to realize less profit. Any business that relies on illegal aliens to stay afloat doesn't deserve to be in business anyway.
