Another poll, same results. Clearly, the American people SUPPORT this law. Once again, the democrats are on the wrong side of an issue.

I beg them to PUSH illegal immigration/amnesty.

Broad Approval For New Arizona Immigration Law: Overview - Pew Research Center for the People & the Press

Quote:
Fully 73% say they approve of requiring people to produce documents verifying their legal status if police ask for them. Two-thirds (67%) approve of allowing police to detain anyone who cannot verify their legal status, while 62% approve of allowing police to question people they think may be in the country illegally.

As has been the case since last fall, the public is highly critical of Barack Obama’s handling of immigration policy. Just 25% approve of the way Obama is handling the issue, while more than twice as many (54%) disapprove.

The law is having the desired effect of having the Illegals leave and it's not even officially on the books yet!

Their typical sampling consists of 1500 interviews. And that means "clearly, the American people SUPPORT this law"?

Read their methodology of compiling stats. Read something other than headlines, which are naturally skewed to support readership. Oh wait, most haters in this forum aren't interested in fact. What was I thinking ~

So you are suggesting that most Americans are against the AZ law?
Are you also suggesting that most Americans have no issue with illegals?

This is the fourth poll I believe that basically says the same thing - Americans support the law.

I guess instead of opinion polls we should believe people like you, that have noting to back up their opinion?

You're right about the haters in this forum not being interested in fact. We have told them over and over that this law prohibits racial profiling and even posted the criteria for LE to stop anone and it isn't based on skin color or ethnicity. Please ask these haters of the enforcement of our immigration laws why they remain in denial in spite of the "facts". Thanks.

Amazing how the media and the illegal apologists have tried to mislead the public on this law. They will do and say anything to try and convince people that the law is racist and encourages racial profiling.

So far, based on ALL the polls, the public is just not buying the BS.
