Arizona law will triumph in court: Constitutional challenges have little support in case law
WINN: Arizona law will triumph in court - Washington Times
The Washington Times

By John Winn
Despite howls of outrage from the political left and right, Arizona's new immigration law (SB 1070) will probably withstand constitutional challenge. At its heart, the statute defines as unlawful trespass the presence in the state of adult aliens (noncitizens) who do not possess valid federal identification. The legislation specifically invokes Section 1304 of Title 8 United States Code. Section 1304 requires aliens "at all times" to carry a certificate of alien registration or an alien registration receipt card. Adequate federal documentation would therefore consist of a permanent resident Green Card, work visa or immigrant visa.

No wonder "Stedman" purportedly hasn't read the law - cause they can't touch it. Rejoice! This is going to be the first domino with many states to follow. I just know there are several states waiting in the wings to see how things go with AZ and they will jump on board as soon as feasible.

REGION: Three UCSD professors say Arizona law is constitutional
Quote:
Arizona's controversial new immigration law probably would withstand legal challenges on constitutional grounds, according to a panel of three UC San Diego law professors.
Arizona's law, Senate Bill 1070, requires police officers to check a person's immigration status if they have a "reasonable suspicion" the person is in the country illegally. It makes it a state crime to be in the country without legal documentation; it already is a federal crime.
|
Again, the Arizona law mirrors the federal law. The pro-illegals are upset because NOW those laws will be enforced.
Arizona is 3-0 on challenges to it's tough immigration laws.

What a dope. The Arizona law has no provission to punish anyone that cannot show there documents. the Law is to punish[make a crime] that undocumented aliens do not have papers.
again mixing apples and oranges.

I actually post on a Mexican forum fairly often. Most of the Mexicans there want one thing and one thing only: more of their people in the country. Racial supremacy is their goal. They want to outnumber the whites so they will no longer be a minority no matter what the cost. The just don't understand that bringing in millions of unskilled and uneducated people from the third world is just not a good thing.

You are right about no matter the cost. They are impregnating those who have just reached puberty, obscene at it's most glaring. The end result will be them not functioning in this society but forever demanding we take care of them and their brood with the contunual re election to those who serve THEM. Tells you the types of people invading this Country. They're hoping to generational out their illegalness.

Hmm, brown supremists calling law abiding white Americans, white supremists for wanting our immigration laws respected? Hypocricy, anyone?
