Immigration could pull Poizner to win | poizner, county, whitman - Opinion - The Orange County Register
Steve Poizner could win the Republican nomination for Governor in California.Steve callled it right from the get go and now his opponent Meg Whitman is revising her stand.Steve Poizner is the only sensible choice for Governor in California. The Dems have Ultra Liberal pro Illegal Jerry Brown.

Jerry Brown's past appointee to the Calif Supreme Court Rose Bird Jerry Brown and the Rose Bird factor | San Francisco Bay Guardian Refused to enforce the Death Penalty against Rapists and Murderers.Illegal Immigration will be THE center issue in the upcoming Governor's race and is already taken center stage in the Republican nominee's race. The ads both these candidates have out now are centered on this issue (Illegals)and when the race continues it will pit 2 candidates aganist each other that are on opposing viewpoints on this.

YouTube - New Ad: "Courage" Steve Poizner's stance.

YouTube - New Ad: "Whitman/Obama Amnesty" Meg's original stance. And now she's running radio ads that are a lot tougher against Illegals with Former Gov.Pete Wilson(Megs campaign manager and staunch anti-illegal prop#187 backer) hitting on this issue.

Now She has seen the light? We have to start somewhere in California on this issue. And Poizner backs Arizona's new law.Californians should vote POIZNER for Governor as it is TIME we put California back on track and finally deal with this Illegal Alien Criminal Plague and let Obama and his Administration that America and Americans come first.

It's coming sooner then most think.Where do you think most of Arizona's Illegals will be heading?Instead of 7-8 illegals you will see 10-15 Illegal per unit.L.A. ,Frisco,Oakland,Maywood and Santa Ana will be inundated with them. The State is broke and these new Illegals will not only be competing with Americans and LEGAL resident but will also be competing against their own Illegal brethren for jobs and resources.L.A. Mayor Villaraigosa and Gov. Schwarzenneggar are going to wish they kept their mouths shut.

High California Unemployment,Budget Deficits.Programs helping Poor,Handicapped and Elderly Americans being cut, furlough days and these 2 Clowns still find time to slam Arizona. What a total JOKE.

Remember though that both of these candidates may be double talking by stating no amnesty for illegal aliens. It depends on what one means by no amnesty. Don't be surprised if they are for the type of CIR that includes allowing the illegals to stay here with having to pay fines, learn English, etc. To most Americans that means amnesty but the pro-illegals insist that it isn't. I would like them both to clarify their position on that.

Poizner said from start he will end benefits for illegals, ending illegal immigration is what his commericals are about. Whitman says no amnesty now just like her friend McCain has always said this day, but this always means to send them to back of line with a legal status and z visa cards to live here. Whitman's website repeats she will support government. There won't be need of sanctuary cities once illegals made legal. Last election there were only Ron Paul and Tancredo that actually wanted to send illegals back, the rest Huckabee, Romney all said either nothing or that they would have to go home for a touch-back, then return. This is a manipulative ploy of instant ellis islands at borders.

Considering the choices....Poizner has my vote. Then it will be on to November to get some people to work with him...

But, it isn't going to be easy here in Calif.

Just a worthwhile effort.

Dr. Paul said he was against mass deportations of illegals because that would be too costly and would carry too much risk of abuses of government power, and that he was only in favor of deporting illegals who committed crimes or went on welfare (as illegals going on welfare violated federal law)

The thing is that if either of these two candidates are for allowing the illegal aliens to remain here by giving them legalization even if they are for securing the border, denying taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens, etc. then it just isn't enough. It is just more political double talk nothing new here. I wish there was a way to ask both of them point blank where they stand on what to do with the illegals already here. Until they clarify that neither of them will get my vote.
