If the Federal Government were doing it's job, AZ would not need to do it for them. It is illegal for AZ to deport them themselves and ICE is NOT obligated to deport anyone.

I agree i find it sickening that law enforcement is playing politics, picking and choosing what they will and won't uphold. LAW IS LAW if they can't do your job then maybe a different form of employment is what they need.

John Morton serves as head of ICE and can only keep that position as long as he continues to do the bidding of our incompetent inept community organizer in chief. Are these Chicago thug tactics? Arizona you can arrest illegal aliens who can't prove they're here legally but you can just stick those illegals up your rears because we won't deport any illegals that we didn't apprehend. We'll only deport just enough illegal alien future democratic voters if amnestied to be a little more than what jorge did so we can say the border is secure. We don't like you anyway Arizona because you won't let obama on the ballot in your state until he shows his long form birth certificate to actually prove that he is a citizen.
And it is this attitude that has forced AZ to take matters into their own hands. A total lack of desire on the part of the fed to take the problem seriously.

This is outrageous! Now, ICE is caving in to political pressure, rather than enforcing the laws they swore to uphold. If this isn’t dereliction of duty, I don’t know what is. I guess next it will be against the law to even arrest an illegal. What the heck has happened to this country?
Senator Jeff Sessions has requested John Morton's immediate resignation.
"If he can't enforce the law he shouldn't have the job. He should be grateful for any help he get's regarding illegal immigration and do the right thing in enforcing the law. If they are not going to cooperate with AZ's, it seems he is to be in cooperation with Calderon and Obama."
