Illegal immigration stances should not be made based on one personal experience, in my opinion. It should be made on the "whole". Finding the collective of a situation warrants an opinion. If one thinks this person should make his claim simply based on one incident, then we are to accept that if a person knows of 1 illegal alien and likes them, they base a stance on simply that merit, which to me is wrong.
The whole picture needs to be considered even though each separate contributor of the negatives of illegal immigration is detrimental enough. His claim to fight for the rights of illegal aliens based upon his own parents as immigrants does not portray the reality of the situation, nor would him being against illegal immigration due to one accidental incident. Perhaps if he were to review this link he could better define the reality of illegal aliens and crime:
50K bail is steeeeep around these parts. He must have landed a pissed off judge. I can't tell you how many crimmigrants are released with no bail for similar offenses by our lame bleeding heart judges.
I can also tell you that this story isn't topping the charts in the Boston media. It's been kept pretty quiet.
