A person born on US soil[or territory] IS a US citizen...regardless of parents immigration status. That person is NOT granted or Allowed anything, the act of being born in America is all that is needed. Why is that concept so hard to understand.
They shouldn't be a US citizen if their parents are not citizens. You can't run for President unless you are a citizen, so I think it's good policy not to allow people to come here, have anchor babies to get citizenship. The parents need to do the correct, honest, legal thing and not sneak in the back door with their baby.

The bottom line is this - why are the parents here and why are they not legal? Besides a recession, not giving the option of having anchor babies would tremendously help our border issues. That would, majorly, put the spotlight on Mexico to fix their own blasted country and stop sending their people here to bring money back to their country.

I was reading somewhere that out of every $10 earned by an illegal, they are taking $9 in free services. Not a good thing for our economy.

America is the home of the free and the brave...and anyone wants to change us into Mexico, Iran, or North Korea can think about living there.
Well....if enough of them keep crossing our border illegally.... you soon won't be able to tell the difference

"1751texan", WHY are you even here? It's pretty clear where you stand on the topic of illegal aliens. Thankfully, most true Texans have very solid opinions on this topic and they are NOT in line with yours.

Why is the concept of ILLEGAL so hard for YOU to understand?
What part of WRONG don't you understand? It's wrong to come to our country illegally and it's wrong that our country allows illegals to give birth to citizens. What part of these concepts do YOU not understand?

Another spectacular idea. I think we shoul insist that the next POTUS do just that. It would be something for a candidate to campaign on.

Bravo. You do understand. We do not want to turn America into Mexico which is why we want to send these people home, seal the border and start over. What a breakthough, you must be tired.
