"Beaner" has been used many times on C-D as well as referring to me as "sureno" implying that I am a Mexican gang member. BTW I'm Puerto Rican & get negative comments that I am less of an American [support La Raza] even though I was born in Los Angeles.

Negative connotations are out there for every race, culture and creed. Don't let words upset you.

Yes it is, but rather than getting angry at your fellow Americans are you angry about the Illegal Aliens that are streaming across causing the problems? Whose fault is it that they are mostly Hispanics from Mexico? Mine? Yours? Hardly.

If we stop and remove the problem that all goes away.

I never have included any legal Hispanic or any other legal immigrant in my arguments. That would be quite hypocritical of me since I have many Hispanic friends.

I lived in South Florida for almost 40 years. In case you are not aware, they have a high Hispanic population. I have seen my friends who immigrated work hard to find their place in this country and they did it legally. It wasn't always easy for many of them. And yes while many Cubans got a "free pass" into this country, once here they had to follow the laws just like any other immigrant.

To anyone who has come to this country legally and found a place to call home, I am happy for them. This is a great country and one appreciates it more when you know someone who has come from a place with no freedom and the joy they have at finally being free.

It's a slap in the face of those who follow the law to allow what's going on now to continue. With any illegal.

Easy for you to say! But ultimately the issue is how we treat all Americans and the Arizona law makes Latinos the "suspect". It is an insult to Hispanics & why there is so much anger over it. If Arizona decided to put their state's National Guard on the border instead of passing this racist law there would be no argument since no one wants an open border. Last night Bill Maher pointed out how Arizona is becoming the most "stupid" state in the nation for a variety of recent laws. Arizona needs to smarten up in order to avoid looking racist and stupid.

I'm Apache and look Mexican. I deal with it.

Illegal immigration has to stop. If that means I get "profiled" until it's put to a stop so be it. I always get secondary at the border but I'm used to it. If the stream of illegals would dry up it would not be happening.

Not that it matters but I seriously doubt you do. But, good for you anyway. I'm not going to brag about my portfolio.

Wait, I think I just did.
