I came across these articles, more to show this illegal immigration is so out of hand.

In a baffling development, a major U.S. county is allowing Mexico’s government to operate a satellite consular office to offer the area’s illegal immigrants identification cards that will facilitate life in the United States.

CBP also records the number of tunnels discovered along the border which are allegedly used for smuggling and human trafficking. In 2008 alone, CBP discovered 25 of these tunnels. Overall, between 1990 and March 2009, CBP discovered 103 tunnels along U.S. borders – one along the U.S border with Canada and 102 along the U.S. border with Mexico.

Incursions

It reveals that two-thirds of the 71,665 children enrolled in the program in 2009 are undocumented immigrants. Illinois taxpayers dished out an astounding $54.9 million to provide them with medical insurance that year alone and there’s no telling what future tabs will be as the enrollees grow.
When former Governor Rod Blagojevich, whose federal corruption trial is set to begin this week, proudly signed legislation to create the insurance program, he assured it would help families who can’t afford health insurance but “are doing everything they’re supposed to do—working hard, paying their taxes.” The program is supposed to be partially funded by low monthly premiums charged to families.

It's been out-of-control and is only getting worse. Now illegals are demanding free college education - the so-called Dream Act because they aren't coming to take the jobs that "Americans and even blacks" (Vicente Fox's words) won't do but because they want the high paying jobs. They don't want to have to work and save up for their college like Americans must do, they want the financial aid given to them.

Of course all of this is going on because Mexico realizes that these illegals are the lifeblood of the Mexican economy because Mexico can't do anything for itself, remittance payments make up the 2nd largest component of the Mexican economy after oil exports , and the U.S. benefits by corporations that can't off-shore work, like distribution centers and agriculture, by having the next best thing to off-shoring: ultra cheap illegal labor

I'll bet the Japanese are now slapping their own foreheads in disgust at the their folly; declaring war on us in the 1940s.

All they had to do was wait a few decades, flood us with 12-30 million illegals, encourage those illegals to make outrageous demands, bankrupt our States, call us all racists and then sit back smugly while our own Government officials eagerly fall over themselves to help the invaders!

The Matricular card[Mexican ID card] has no validity...Unless US companies and govermental agencies accept it as a form of ID.

If US companies[Banks, Rental companies] or Governmental agencies[state driver lincences and some social services] didn't accept the Matricular card as a form of ID, it would be just a picture card.

You miss the point entirely. Having those kind of visas, the temporary immigrant would be subject to minimum wage controls and established labor standards. In other words, they would become expensive. If illegals are, what the left call, undocumented immigrants, then that means technically they are ghosts, they don't exist. So the companies are free to pay them BELOW minimum wage

Nope. Do not buy it for a second. They are not "ghost employees", for the most part they work as "sub contractors" or they work under someone else's ID. I love the "they are paid less" theory.. not true at all. The only reason illegal immigrants make such low wages is because they are in low skilled jobs I know this firsthand from working in the automotive industry, even in agriculture they work through FLC's but still have to be paid minimum wage. There might be isolated examples.. but I know they can go to the labor relations board and complain if work standards are not met, and always win against the "big bad employer". Sorry... just don't buy it.

You know.. reminded me of the recent campaign Wells Fargo launched to open new accounts for illegal immigrants.

Even if they are paid minimum wage, the employer still abuses them by creating unsafe working conditions and exploiting their lack of education, knowledge of the laws, and lack of English skills. They are still exploited in one way or another

So... it's the employers fault that they are uneducated and lack skills? not to mention we have many agencies that overlook workplace safety, did you know illegal immigrants can collect workmans comp if hurt on the job? there is no victim here, if anything we should be crying about the way Mexico treats it's citizens.. sheesh.
