Default Springfield Needs Your Vote For Simpson Movie Premiere

In case you didn't know it, Springfield has always been known as the Springfield in the Simpsons show.

The new Simpsons Movie is coming out July 26 so all 14 cities named Springfield in the USA want to claim rights to hosting the premiere of the movie.

Springfield, IL definitely has the most related things always talked about in the Simpson shows.....but now the others want to lay claim to their fair cities being the Springfield in the Simpsons show.......what??????????

We can't let them do that Illinois people. So Springfield, IL needs your help!

Each city was supposed to submit a homegrown video by Springfieldians...unfortunately a lot of the cities did what most Springfield IL people are calling "CHEATING" .... they hired professional film crews not from
their Springfield city

Our Illinois video is probably not the best video but it is cute.....we are pretty far up in the running and NEED VOTES BADLY!

The voting ends midnight Monday July 9.

'The Simpsons Movie' Hometown Premiere Contest - USATODAY.com

HELP US WIN....PLEASE VOTE....ONE VOTE PER COMPUTER PER DAY....VOTE FROM AS MANY COMPUTERS AS POSSIBLE.

YAY

Thanks

That would explain the mountains in the background during city-scape scenes...

After the last time I made a Simpsons remark about Illinois' Springfield and received ridicule here, I changed course. Illinois' Springfield is too ghetto to be the Simpsons' Springfield, although one could imagine Mr Burns trying to pollute Lake Springfield.
