Default New Baden, Illinois - ANY homes for sale???

Hello all.

I am trying my hardest to get my wife to move to the metro-east of St. Louis, MO. We are specifically looking at New Baden, Illinois because it is exactly 1 hour from my hometown, 30 minutes from the city, and has an incredibly low crime rate.

However, when I searched for homes for sale on homes.com and Century21.com, I found absolutely nothing!

I thought for a moment that perhaps the convenient country-like setting with the convenience to the city, a crazy low crime rate, and decent home prices might keep people there...but a city of 3500, and not a single home for sale???

I checked the Multiple Listing Service (the system available to real estate agents) for New Baden, and it showed over 38 homes ranging in price from 76k to 349k for sale. You would be best to contact an agent in the area you are interested in. The two sites you mentioned don't seem to be pulling up everything available. Good luck!
