While, West Nebraska Ave is not outright dangerous, it is not a great area. It'd be best to look elsewhere.

Although you have no plans for kids, schools can greatly affect the resale value of whatever home you purchase. I agree with a previous poster who suggested living north of War Memorial. If you stay relatively close to an I-74 exit you can get to Bradley rather quickly and easily.

I can add a 3 bedroom 2 bath house is the first on any block to sell.
