If you say no, you are a hypocrite.
Yes, it should be. I am all in favor of legalization; I believe that if marijuana were to be legalized, it should carry the same restrictions and punishments (or similar) to those of alcohol. DUIs issued to those driving while or after they have smoked (up to 6 hours maybe? Just throwing it out there), no smoking in public places, tickets for passengers smoking in a vehicle (similar to an open intoxicant ticket), and so forth.

I fully agree with this.

Pros: It could push some dealers out of business. The state could tax it to help the deficit. It could take the allure away for some teenagers that think illegal drugs are cool. People tend to have less violent outbursts compared to drunk people. It could mean big business for grocery stores and 24 hour eateries, as everyone would have the munchies! lol.

Cons: It could push those dealers to deal harder drugs. It could become a draw for junkies outside of the state (look at Amsterdam). It could create a generation of brain dead morons, but no more so than alcohol does I suppose. Attract a larger crowd of people who wouldn't have been users if it was illegal, thus increasing the cases of health problems and abusers.

ok, what is it good for besides letting people legally get high? Honestly it is dumb, lets stop with these stupid ideas people think can "stimulate" the economy. That is BS, we need to cut spending on many of our useless spending programs that is putting our national deficit in the crapper. Do you have a response Mr. Liberal?

No one really has a good argument in saying that it would be bad to legalize marijuana because the fact remains that alcohol is legal, which effects are as bad or worse. Seriously, what harm would it do if it was legal????

Why not start with the edible forms? This eliminates one of the biggest problems - second hand smoke.
