I just posted a few that I thought were nice, I like flowers, that was on my sister's front yard, the tower is in her back yard on the farm, and the other boat and stuff were at an abandoned barn. The storm cloud was interesting to me as I am in the desert southwest and we don't get weather like that.

I don't think they are any more interesting than any others on the Illinois site. I did take them in Illinois. Guess I will just stick to other sites then...thought they showed a little bit about Illinois, is all.

dogmom, your pics are nice...they were what gave you pleasure at the time you snapped them and give you a memory when you view them later. The true meaning of and in a photo is not always evident to others.

Oh, hi, Dogmom! I see you have made you're way over to the Illinois forum! Illinois is very beautiful in some spots, (Lake Michigan, Starved Rock SP, western IL, Shawnee NF) but it's nothing like you got back home!

Oh, and I like your pictures, I'm not joking. Especially the storm ones. I remember that one, just a week ago. SCARY! Especially for you, I'm sure, being out on a farm and all.

Thanks, Illinoisboy..we are having flash flood warning tonight, it's dark, ugly and I am glad I am not camping out at Zion. lightning, thunder..now I am hoping our power doesn;t go out, we need this a/c as it is still warm out.

We had several storms while I was in Mt. Carroll, I just loved the area..glad you liked my pictures, I have tons more but will spare ya'll...have a nice evening!
