And yes, it was a gorgeous weekend. Er, heck, its been an incredible MONTH! Id even say its been an incredible summer, minus a handful of crappy days. Overall I give this summer an A- so far.

Steve-o, I have to agree, this summer has been beautiful. Minus all the flooding we dealt with in early June. It has been on the cool side for the most part with a few warm/muggy days... You can't beat midwestern summers! It looks like it may be a tad warm this week then cooling down again this weekend.

I have some pictures of Galena I'll have to share with you guys!

Just as soon as I load em onto the computer...

It's such a beautiful town with so many cool historical buildings and a great downtown, too! Plus, it's in one of the most beautiful parts of Illinois.
