Does anyone know what days Illinois will be holding its tax-free days for back to school shopping?

It doesn't happen in IL that I know of. My girlfriend said she was going to Iowa this weekend to take advantage of their tax-free program.

No such thing in Illinois. Missouri and Iowa are the only bordering states that I know of that offer a back to school tax break.

Virginia had there tax free this past weekend 8/3 - 8/5 2007 ....

I don't think Illinois does get tax free ,,,,,don't know the answer.
