My family have an opportunity to move to highland and work in st louis. Can anyone tell me about the highland area and if they like it....Thank you

Highland is a nice community. Also nice, and not far away is Edwardsville and Glen Carbon. Check out my other posts to learn about the area. Good luck!

We moved to Highland a little over a month ago and absolutely LOVE IT!
It is a great, laid back town with very friendly people and community that had a lot to offer. It is just minutes away from I-70 and the commute to St. Louis isnt bad at all. I visit friends a lot in St. Louis and it is well worth the extra 15 minutes I spend in the car to live in Highland rather than Belleville.

My sister in law lives there and loves it. She commutes into St. Louis a lot but finds what she needs right there in town. I have been there a few times and each time something new comes up. There is a really cute victorian type place for lunch in town. The people all know one another and it appears to be a genuine place to live.
