Default Looking for Book--The Centennial History of Blue Mound, Illinois

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this? I assume it's out of print, as it was originally printed in 1970.

Does anyone in the local area know if there are any available for sale?

I am a decendent of many of the people in that book, and want a copy for my family history. I have unbinded parts of the book, but am looking for a full copy with the hardback cover. It was written by Melvin R. Matthews

Thanks

Blue Mound... the town that puts color in Illinois. I believe that's what's still on the town sign.

Search the very popular book selling website (can't mention the name due to advertising restrictions) and you'll find one used copy available. Send me a private message if you're unsure of which site I mean.

Powell Books on Milwaukee. Or is it on Lincoln. It's near Lincoln Belmont and Milwaukee. Near Muskie's.

There are also several used book store near Clark and Belmont in Chicago.

Thanks Greg,

I actually found one a few months ago online from a book seller from England (I guess he was a relative of the book's author), and I purchased it from him.

Are you related to anyone in Blue Mound? I am from the Bean family line--Dismond Bean was my grandfather's brother (my grandparents were Jacob Harold and Margaret Lindley Bean).
