Why don't you report them then? You are part of the problem if you don't.

Yes and NO

The sad truth of the matter it should not be someone else s duty to know the difference between right and wrong.

Would I ever report someone to the state? Probably not
So in a sense you have a good point

Even the people I know who work for the state government admit it's COMPLETELY backwards and totally inefficient. One of my friends says they could fire well over half her department and still have plent of people to actually do the work. She spends over 75% of her day with nothing to do. Her boss wanders out every day for lunch at 1pm and never comes back. Most days she wanders out too by 3pm and just goes home to watch TV. This certainly isn't uncommon.

I say fire 5 times as many.

Yeah that double-dipping retirement thing has to go. I mean they can retire at 50 with a pension, get ANOTHER govt job and get another pension? Is that still true - I have heard this can happen? If so, That is just expen$ive.

In the meantime, there are laidoff people in the pvt sector who cannot get a mcjob and they will never be able to truly retire.

No, my husband is a Fed. Employee and double dipping is not done. You can add your military time to your Fed time to get a better retirement but can't get both. If he is to retire, which he is doing soon, he can only go back to a fed gov type of job is through a contractor which many do in his field. So....he can collect retirement and work for a contractor but he then pays taxes. He is going to retire without going back to work just telling you what can be done.

Maybe not at the Federal level where your husband works==== but I hear about people getting public pensions (double )
