San Francisco with its cool summers, or San Diego with its year-round temperate conditions. I don't think Florida or Arizona heat would be to the liking of the OP. I still think SE Michigan would be a good choice. If you can tolerate the weather in Central Illinois, I think you might like it. I'm positive that the Northeast would offer something, but I don't know very much about that region of the country.

Northern AZ. has a climate that is much different than Phoenix or Tucson. Prescott AZ. has a very nice climate ,warm summer days with cool nights and winter is very mild compared to northern states.
