There is no way that CWL will ever install a gate like that. They shut off you c-pass when you dont pay your association fees so you would then be locked out. They need to have the gate guard there to allow your guests in. They do allow people in even if they are banned. All they have to do is ride in the back seat or passenger seat. The only one that they ever card is the driver. I know since I have seen someone that is banned and when I called and reported it I was told I will let patrol know and patrol NEVER showed up. I have seen the patrol speeding on several occasions and you call the gate and report it and she tells you that she will have a supervisor contact you and very polite about it and I told her I want something done now and she is still being so polite that I know I was very rude to her but she was listening to me and trying to do her job. So security does try to help but when they are only security dont carry weapons and have no authority except to write tickets you get what you pay for.

I live in candlewick and dont like it so much but I gotta call you out on this one.
If you wanted to get in and look around, and got in you would have said "...waaaa they let anyone in to steal your stuff...waaaa" Then if you really wanted to go to the office make a "u-turn" at the gate and go to the office. Even our section 8 government rental idiots from cabrinni green know how to do that!!!
Look, the reason the crime rate is so high is the renters...noit all of them but the ones that sit in thier garages and smoke weed while the government pays the rent. CWL should be involved in the renter process kinda like having to vote them in. High Rise complexes in Chicago do it. Get the low lifes outta here and make it a family place again. Cabrinni Green got torn down, so now its Candlewick Green...and not in the good way that a name like that would project. Hey, another one "projects" or project???>>>>

I have let at least two section 8 families know that they are not welcome. If you can read you know who you are. Keep your kids out of the middle of the road and teach them some respect. I guess first you need respect yourself before you can teach someone else.
Come on CWL residents...dont let these crime wave wanna be gang bangers intimidate you. It just takes one crazy white boy moment to put them in thier place. We owe them nothing. NOTHING. they take enough from us already.
Food for thought. We (this country)are now in the fourth generation of welfare recipients in this country. That means, norw think about it...that means that a female recieving welfare for her kids at age 20 has seen her great grandmother recieve welfare. They treat it like its thier job have more babies and report to the welfare office. WHAT KIND OF CYCLE IS THAT?!!!
They will never change or break the cycle. We pay for them to live amongst us in our community and now we have to lock our doors and act scared. Well,,,,you do. I dont.
Moving here to our community is not a change for the better like they try to tell us, its just an easier place for them to break and enter during the day because they know we all go to work everyday.

They also write tickets for having your gardbage cans underneath your own porch on your own property. Or having ladders in your backyard for more than a day.

But what about that one guy that took his seat belt off to get his wallet out of his back pocket to show the lady her ID. Then got a ticket for that?

I lived in candlewick for 17 years, I moved last year and I am glad I did.

Candlewick had the cruelest rules, and is one of the worst gated community ever.

I had a seat belt ticket at the gate too.
Here is the story exactly as it happened...
Sherriffs deputy, last name is Brunemi(sp) was standing at the exiting stop sign by the gaurd shack (rte76 side). You know, where the speed bump is...well anyway he is holding a styrofoam cup with coffee(I assume coffee). It obviously came from our gaurd shack, in other words we paid for it. I had my seatbelt on as I was approaching the stop sign. My phone was jabbing me in my fat roll so as I stopped at the sign right next to him I pulled my seat belt off with my left hand, held it in my hand and the steering wheel. He saw me pull it off, told me to pull over just as i was clicking it back on. Basiclly, I was stopped when the seatbelt was off and got a ticket.
cops can say whatever they want and judges take it for gospel. They are all lying POS's. Now I can prepare for the harrasment!!!!!!

On another note. It is a violation of our privacy and our visitors privacy to scan our licences and send the info to the sherriffs department.
Another story.
Late one wednesday noght I roll up to the gaurd gate on my bike(no c-pass for the bike) and there is a rather large individual in the shack. I go to hand him my licence and notice that he has a candlewick security shirt on but it is over the top of his Boone County Sherriff uniform. Even though it was untucked i could see his cuffs, gun and the rest of his duty belt and it was clear that he was impersonating our public safety officers. I refused to give him my licence but did hand him a form of ID with a picture and address that could not be scanned. He let me in but before I could get home I was pulled over and shook down. That means with no probable cause and no warrant the sherriffs that pulled me over(3 cars) searched every inch of my saddle bags and my clothing...right there in front of everyone on my block to see.
Beware...candlewick still reports you info to the sherriffs dep.
And the sneaky bastards themselves pull crazy stuff like this just to harrass the people of CWL. Maybe because they cant afford to live here like us.!!!!!

I did more than think about it...I SAID IT. Poplar Grove is great, Candlewick is turning into the hood with all the welfare section 8 baby having pitbull fighting crack smoking baby daddys and baby mommas running around livin "fo free" as they would say.
