Candlewick Lake - Poplar Grove (Lake in the Hills, Union: sales, sex offender, mortgage)

The B and B was on the corner of Poplar Grove Road and 173...we all pretty much know that. I think this one will last due to the long standing customers from the other location. My thougts on the other two resturaunts not lasting is: Nora's...they had some issues that no one will really ever know about. I will say, Neds on 20 going to Rockford is the same family and they are a really good place. They(Noras) were also in Harvard for a very short time. I ate once in the Harvard locale, and to say the least it was not good. The fifties style joint that followed...who knows what happened. I liked it both times I went.

Now, more on CWL. Just kidding, I have nothing new to report. I will however start speaking up at the board meeting much in the way I do here on this forum....whoa baby, stay tuned for that one.

WAIT...I do have somehting to say. Maybe I have mentioned it but I saw it again. The GM who earns, er uh gets paid 75,000 per year to "manage" our community is rarely at the office even for half a day. I need a job like that.
Anyone check out the video that he had made? WOW, I have seen junior high kids create better videos. Im serious, I had the local JHS make a safety video for a company I was working for. It was a nice project for them and I got it for free.

I would start recruiting people to attend the meetings, get your neighbors so that it is standing room only, see who from the office even shows up. I would bet that if you start getting people to join you, and they get people it wouldnt be long before they have more in attendance then they want.

I have learned over the weekend that a committee was formed to look into what we can do to limit the amount of city welfare rejects, er, uh section 8 renters. Hmmm, still not PC enough.
I think the committe is only one person, but if I could make it two!! I will contact ya soon about that. I think I waved to you when I was going by on my bike this weekend.

YOUTUBE....I could only strive to be that good!!! Yea, I missed this most recent meeting that set up the committes, but my time will come. As far as getting kicked out, well it wouldnt be the first time politically correct cry babies disregard and ridicule the truth.

I,ve been at B & B,s 1 time--will never go back--eggs were runny-grease or butter they cook with was rancid tasteing--which made toast,hash browns, eggs all taste bad, Go to Dennys, or Nad,s or the Steamplant.
