Decent Hotels around Antioch or Fox Lake?
We're pulling our boat down to Chain of Lakes in a few weeks, and are looking for a decent hotel to stay at. Google maps and Expedia both don't show much. Isn't there a decent hotel around that area? Sure seems like a great place to have a few!!

Crummy old motels...
Really the "evolution" of those areas into suburbs has killed off the "vacationeers". The motels are more likely to be someplace for landscaper employees to live while cutting lawns than anyplace I'd recommend to a family on a boating outing...

We stayed in a hotel up that way, and we left thinking this must be a motel for truck drivers. it was really humorous - the screens were broken and there were spiders and bugs on the window there. I would not stay at a mom and pop motel, i would only now stay in a big chain like a Holiday Inn. Unless you dont mind the rusticness of such a place.
