We are looking at closing on a home at the end of next month on the border of Edwardsville and Glen Carbon. I am planning on going back to work but have no ideas on the area daycares and preschools. My daughter is 2 so I don't know that any preschools will take her until next year. I am looking for somewhere that also has certified teachers.

Thank you for the information. Looking at the school online they look like they do a great job along with fun activities for the kids. I will look further into this facility.

We will also be moving to the area in May. We used to live in Belleville but now that we have children we would like to raise them in Edwardsville. I am searching for a part-time preschool or "Mother's Day Out" program for my 4 yr old. Looking for small class size and certified teachers. She currently is going to a MDO program in a church setting and enjoys it. Not sure if they have MDOs in Edwardsville but it's basically 2-3 days a week from 9-2.

The link in the second reply appears to be a very good Day Care/Pre-school program. I am pretty sure if you search churches in Edwardsville you can find some that offer pre-school. Whether or not they offer day care ???. I suspect the Kids Club can fit your MDO schedule very easily. Their teachers are state licensed/certified with 60 hours Early Education training
