I have been searching for an apartment for the Scott afb area can not find any. Are there apartments for rent there if so what is the average price. Trying to find something under 700 since I will still be paying on property in VA.

I have to laugh reading your post. My husband is stationed at Scott and we moved here from DC. I thought the same thing when I started looking here. There definitely aren't a lot of apartment complexes around here like there are in Virginia. There are a lot of smaller apt buildings or duplexes or even single family homes for rent. That makes it a little harder to do an apartment search. If you want further info on rentals, feel free to send me a message for updated info.

You'll probably have more luck with Craigslist or the St. Louis Post-Dispatch site than finding mega-complexes by Scott AFB.
