Need Job Around Princeton, IL
Husband and I just moved to Sheffield. He works, I don't. So I need a job around the Princeton area, give or take 30 miles. I have searched in all the local newspapers for jobs, slim pickings. I am listed as a substitute teacher in all the surrounding schools but am lucky if I am called more than twice a week. Help! Any suggestions?

Since you're a teacher, you might consider offering private tutoring.
You're right about slim pickings in that area. Friend of mine lives there, has always worked on contract hours away from Princeton.

Try contacting DePue Unit Schools. They are usually in need of teachers. The small school district has a hard time keeping teachers from moving on after a couple of years, but if you are in need of a position, they may have an opening.
