1) Where in IL do you currently live? I'd get more specific, but its a small town and I dont want anyone coming to look for me I've lived all over Chicagoland, currently in a very far northwest suburb
2) Do you like it there? It is home (the general area) and I feel a certain responsibility to live and work here in the Chicago area....that waxes and wanes (sometimes I wish I could just leave and not look back). I do like it here though, I like the landscape and people are generally not in your business all the time, but are not typically mean or uncaring either.
3) Were you born in IL? yes, at Condell
4) If born out of state, how/why did you end up here. Not Applicable
5) Whats your favorite city/town in the state? Probably good old Bloomington/Normal, had a good college experience there and I love Constitution trail! I will drive there sometimes just to bike that trail.
6) Whats your favorite region of the state? probably my home, the Chain o Lakes area
7) What do you like least about the state? The infrastucture -- much could be done to improve. I'd love to see high speed trains one day...or...just more passenger and commuter trains in general, connecting suburbs and not just spokes to the city
8) What do you like most about the state? Landscapes and thunderstorms, its a livable place in the true sense of the word...you can live off the land (if you had to...)
9) Whats your favorite state park/recreation area in the state? I'm partial to Chain o Lakes State park and Glacial Park
10) If you could move somewhere else, where would you like to go? Most likely a western state.

Weather. I hate snow now. My kids love it but I can do without it.

Chicago is without a doubt the cleanest and best major city in the US. The museums, parks, and restaurants...how can you ever be bored?

9) Whats your favorite state park/recreation area in the state?
Rock Cut State park is pretty sweet. Great trails, great camping, excellent fishing.

10) If you could move somewhere else, where would you like to go?
Where it doesn't snow. How about Vegas.....or Arizona.
