I lived in Chicago (and its suburbs) until four years ago and it's always been cold and snowy in the winter. I think this winter has been outrageously cold/snowy though and I know many people that left for that very reason. One poor guy moved there from Hawaii and lasted less than six months. He showed up without a coat and boots. He had a very tough time adjusting. It's probably best to search for warmer climates if weather is a deal breaker for you.

Good luck to you.

I see him a lot - usually at least weekly - since I live across the street from his Chicago campaign offices. My partner even accidentally took his photo once, not realizing who it was he'd trained his lens on while shooting street photography. I was surprised Quinn's security detail wasn't around at that time - usually he looks like the President there's so many plain-clothes guys around.

It probably wasn't a planned event where he was expected.

Pfffff, you think Chicago is bad? How do you think I feel? I dealt with -22 without wind chill.

Huh? A minus twenty-two temperature in Illinois is probably more common than you think. One thing about it -- it's a heck of a lot warmer than a -50!
