OH Greenville!!
It's funny how we take things for granted.
I moved from Louisiana to Greenville, IL when I was 16. OH, I just dispised being there. How dare I be uprooted?!
I graduated H.S. in Greenville, made DEAR friends that I will always cherish & started a family in that lovely little town.
I've now been away from Greenville for almost 4 years.
I felt so desperate at the time to get out. But now that I've experienced other parts of the U.S. (Arizona....), I can't believe how extreme my misjudgement was!
What a better place to espress my love for Illinois & Missouri, as well, than on City-Data.com.
I miss ya'll, I miss you SO much!!
Oh, and I will be back!

Dont fret it, it happens to thousands of people like yourself. Ive had 12 family members move to AZ, all but 3 are back, with 2 of them trying to make their way back here. Ive never been to Greenville (nor even know where its located), but it seems to be a pretty decent place to leave Prescott for. I enjoy Prescott, one of my fave AZ cities (along with N. Scottsdale, Carefree, Fountain Hills and Page).

ahhh, the sweet thought of cornfields
Arizona is a perfect vacation spot, but no place to live. Well, unless you are rich, never having to come down out of your own little paradise in the pines, mountains or desert ranch.
I cannot speak for all of Illinois, but where I have lived & visited, good paying jobs aren't hard to come across & the cost of living is very reasonable. Gosh, try getting a 2 bedroom apt. in Scottsdale, Arizona!! YIKES!
Cornfields, thunderstorms, friendly neighbors & neighborhoods where everyone is aquainted, humidity (I'm tired of being a raisen), 4 seasons, good ol' boy morals!
Like I said before, the things I've taken for granted.

Well, when you live so close to the river, IL & MO are just kinda' combined. Like one. Because you can communte to either & it is great!
Missouri is fantastic. I lived in Cape Girardeau for 2 years & LOVE it. It's my second home.
My heart longs to be there.

We have our home / farm listed now ..then we plan to relocate to Missouri (Springfield / Branson area)
I am in Jersey County - yep near all the rivers...
So not wanting to go off to far just far enough to make a new life ... new "living"
We discussed it and all of our kids are going with ... they loved it to when we went on trips that way!
I was up on an offer for a job in Az. about 5 years ago .. on a reservation ... so we almost took that path but I believe Missouri is it!
