Yes, today is ok, yesterday was God awful though. You said "The past few days have been nice" More like today is nice, which it is I guess if you like cold weather, but yes at least it is sunny!

What's to complain about? This is that nice Winter weather we were dreaming about back in August.

Apparently you are in Steve's dream world. From my own thoughts as well as everyone I know, a more proper terminology would be this is the weather we were dreading back in August as we knew it was coming.

I was totally looking forward to it and I'm hoping we get a few inches tomorrow night.
In March I'll be sick of it, but right now it's lovely and it really helps me get in the Christmas spirit. It would be terrible if it were warm and sunny right now.

Yes it would be horrible to be walking Old Orchard Mall or Oak Brook Terrace, not freezing my ***** off having to wear a heavy coat and hat only to moments later sweat my ***** off the moment I walk into one of the hot crowded stores. What an awful thought.

Yesterday afternoon was a bit windy, but wasnt that bad. Early afternoon was overcast with flurries that lasted a whole 10 minutes, but then the skies cleared, the moon was perfect and the stars were out. We were also treated with a nice blazing orange sunset too.
