No one knows what or where greenville is. give a big city name like Chicago, Rockford, Springfield, St.Louis/East St. Louis, Bloomington, Moline, or Aurora!
and their suburbs.

If he's not moving to Chicago or St Louis, why would he ask about them? What an idiotic response.

Sorry I cant help you with Glenview, but more sorry that this person gave such a moronic answer.

I never quite understood why people respond to threads they know nothing about.

Anyway, Greenview is a very small, rural community just north of Springfield. It's nice and quait and rural if that's what you are looking for. You'd be close enough to Springfield to get "city" stuff like the shopping if you needed it. What are you moving there for anyway ?

I went to high school in Greenview in the late '80's. As "Strong" said it is a small rural town outside of Springfield. They are one of the few small towns left that still has their own schools. What I mean by this is that they have not consolidated with the other surrounding towns to make one large school from several communities. The entire K-12 is all located in the same school biulding. Kindergarden through 6 on one end and 7-12 on the other with the gym and cafeteria in the middle. You couldn't ask for nicer poeple either. But alas the last time I checked (2 years ago) there was very little rental properties in the area. Mostly family farms passed down from generation to generation.
