Rahm needs votes, and he is more vulnerable than he should be. If he had a challenger who was even a moderately decent candidate, I think he'd be in trouble. But instead he is running against a bunch of clowns.

The benevloent dictator idea is just the flip side of machine politics, big plan thinking. That's the last thing Illinois needs.

What Illinois needs is 800 manufacturing SMEs that each employ 50-100 people.

That is for sure. He started a petition to freeze property taxes and is starting to push back the parasite unions. I just hope he is able to succeed.
