You need to remember, cougars were here generations ago, living and thriving. While they continue to move east again, populations will grow. I cant say for sure that populations in IL will ever rival those of, say, Wyoming, but many are moving this way, and many will call the area home. Theyre being found by mountain bikers in MN, being hit by cars in MO, found in bobcat snares in WI, found roaming deep into Chicagoland, etc. Makes you wonder how many havent been spotted that are roaming around.

Contary to what you believe I don't follow you around. In fact, I don't even post on here more than three days out of the week, unlike some people. It just so happens that every single thread I post on, and I mean literally every single one, you have already posted on. Most of the time I read yours and move one. But in this case, and in another (hmm...Wasco...hmmm) thread, your postings are absolute falsehoods or something like the above mentioned statement, quite vindictive. I mean really, "your own kind". You can't post something like that and not expect some sort of response that opposes you. If you think that we are all desperate farmers down here that can't wait for cookie-cutter Chicagoland sprawl to catch up with us so we can sell out, then you have another thing coming. Don't make insane comments, and then get mad when people respond to them.

If you guys want to rip each others hair out like petulant children do it via DM. This thread is going nowhere and as such I am closing it. If someone were to spot another cougar, you can open a new thread on it.
