Default Deep freeze comin, ya ready?

Skilling is forecasting a 5 degree high for Saturday, with a low of -5 (w/o windchill). Time to plug in those block heaters if youve got em!

I've lived here for 46 years and I don't think I am EVER ready for this kind of cold! That's why I'm moving out of Illinois

This 'deep freeze' happens every year, and every year it annoys me, but of course I'm ready. I at least have enough sense to own warm clothing.

Default Buy Nestle

January is cold time, no question. At least it's a "real" winter and not some scary warm thing that makes me wonder about the Arctic glaciers raising the ocean levels.....except Lake Michigan is going down.

Get out the hot chocolate (or hot wine?), extra sweaters, don't forget the headband or hat and gloves, and enjoy! What choice do we have?

Forget "layering" with a sweater and sleeveless vest. We are talking the "parka", "muffler", etc. Remember the hat that the snowplow driver in "Fargo" wore? Are we going to see those by Saturday?
