It seems that there's 2 BIG builders in the Rockford area. There's 'C' (named after a persons last name) and there's '3' (lets say, it's named after building tools). Anyone that has these homes have opinions on them?
I personally do not care if they're built with Union people, so please don't mention those people who were picketing.... |

We live in a chicago suburb and have been looking into the rockford area for a while. You get a lot more home for the money there. Don't think you are limited to just those two choices. Kennedy homes has several subdivisions in the area although they wouldn't be my first choice. Tom Howlett has a project in belvedere called deer hills that will be a beuatifull area when finished and kids will atttend brand new schools. Hallmark homes in loves park has a subdivision called Central Park where you get a lot for your money as well.

Do a Google search for Maplecrest construction you might be surprised what you will find, go a few pages deep.
Maplecrest is the same as Contry. |

There are many fine builders in the area. If you are concerned go the BBB and find out if there are any standing complaints. "Go to the Source, not the Source of the source."

Yes there are many fine builders in the area and there are 2 very bad ones they are sneaky and use 2 different names. Contry and Maplecrest are owned by the same corp.

Some people on here have no idea what they are talking about. These people are idiots and don't listen to them. Contry and Maplecrest are 2 different owners. Contry Homes is owned by Joe Contarino and Maplecrest is owned by Marc Bourgult. Like I said I know both builders very well. I also live in a Contry home and it's a very noce house. You'll be ok with either builder.

I live in a Contry House and love it. I know that they are not owned by the same person. I've heard bad things about Maplecrest.

I rented a Contry built home and then bought a Contry built home in Davis Junction Illinois. I know Joe and John on a business level and Contry Homes has made homes affordable for thousands of people. These homes are built to the code in the community they build in. I would buy another Contry Home, but Davis Junction suits me just fine. Thanks Joe and John.
