He is the first Aftrican-American to ever be elected as editor of the Harvard Law Review, and the first black American to have a real solid - eleven state win lead over Hillary - chance to win the White House. For some one who as not native born, Abraham Lincoln is as famous as anyone ever born.
Perhaps those famous individuals who were not native born but adopted Illinois a nd were later famious like Lincoln should have their own thread? . .
