We already covered a certain Illinois senator here. Not only was he not born here, he wasn't even raised here. He didn't come here until his 20s.

besides, the best one of all...LINCOLN wasn't born here either. where you are born doesn't matter as much as where you are at.

At least Lincoln had a fairly large law career in Chicago and Illinois, this "Senator" has not.

Newt Minow -- as head of the FCC he called TV a "vast wasteland" in the sixties. He attended Northwestern Law School but his daughter went to the law school at U of C.

As to senators, if someone spends their entire law career as a clerk, lawyer and law professor in IL, I think that should classify as "a fairly large law career" in IL.

How many cases has he been involved in? How many trials has he been involved with? The answer would suprise you.
