besides, the best one of all...LINCOLN wasn't born here either. where you are born doesn't matter as much as where you are at. |

At least Lincoln had a fairly large law career in Chicago and Illinois, this "Senator" has not.

Newt Minow -- as head of the FCC he called TV a "vast wasteland" in the sixties. He attended Northwestern Law School but his daughter went to the law school at U of C.
As to senators, if someone spends their entire law career as a clerk, lawyer and law professor in IL, I think that should classify as "a fairly large law career" in IL. |
