I can't see how we got over 55 inches of snow at Midway when the largest snow was about 10.2 inches and a bunch of 4 inchers.
This isn't possible and they say this is a much snowier winter than the last decade.
Hard to believe cuz of the any small snows don't mean much.
I hope this trend keeps going cuz its good for spring growing.

Well, I'm sure the snowfall was a lot different at Midway than it was up north. I do think the winter was a little easier south of the city (I know it actually). But for all purposes, the chicago area had one of the worst winters ever. If you like this stuff maybe you should move about 40 miles north.

I think the entire city and the south burbs have gotten it pretty easy this year compared to the NW and North burbs.

Id agree. So many times this year Ive seen this prediction: "expect 5-8" in the NW and western burbs, and 1-3" in the city and south suburbs". Makes me wanna move to Kankakee or something.
Not!
*did I just say "not"?!?!*

Didn't geet slammed last night, but did get about three inches. Supposed to be in the high 40's on Sunday. I expect Spring to arrive on time this year.

Skilling says the weather has been a bit out of sorts this year which is good for growing season.
I can't still figure out why the rain snow line always hangs over Chicago.
Are we at that part of the globe where big things are different just a few miles away?
The Latitude and Longitude margin must conect with Chicago for this reason cuz its always a coinsidince.

Its nice outside, sunny and blue skies. A bit windy though for my tastes, but hey!
