Another mostly sunny morning today, around 38 degrees right now. Supposed to reach 52 in the outlying burbs today.

Had to ride out to DeKalb yesterday, so I grabbed my camera and Im glad I did. Did anyone see that blazin sunset last night?? Woah! Talk about scorchin the retinas, woo!!!!

It started out innocent enough:

This was taken out near the Sycamore Speedway on Rt. 64. By now the colors had started getting pretty spectacular:

It was changing every minute it seemed. This shot was taken about a mile down the road.

The peak color/intensity stage: The camera doesnt do it any justice. I sure hope some Chicago photographers were out yesterday. The skyline would have looked AMAZING with this sunset behind it.

Absolutely. I ended up sitting on the side of the road for about 5 minutes just gawking at it. I need a better camera though.

Was real nice yesterday, sunny with a warm sun. Today is mostly cloudy out here with some rain coming tonight (or so they say).

Dense Fog advisory will end at 3PM, and looking out my window, its very foggy at the moment. 13 News at Noon said a snowstorm Thursday Night/Friday. Well, that break was nice while it lasted!

Are they calling for measurable snow, or the normal "hit the ground and melt" March snowstorms?
