Another beautiful morning, in the low 60s and supposed to reach 74 today. Ahhhhh.

Another perfect morning, in the 60s with a high of 70, gorgeous sun and gentle breeze. Does it get any more perfect?

The temps dropped last night too in the western burbs, but only for about an hour. It was totally strange. I had to put a sweatshirt on around 7:15pm, then had to take it off around 8:30, as the temps went back up again. My computer verified it. Showed the temp at 7:15 to be 51 degrees, then by 9pm when I checked again it showed 60. Odd.

Supposed to be 76 today, on and off sporadic rain.

Holy buttcheek, that was a crazy ride home. Got super dark and the skies opened up like you wouldnt believe. One of the most torrential downpours occurred, as well as high winds. Lasted about 10 minutes, even saw some small tree branches get ripped off some trees. There are tornado watches in effect until 8pm in parts of IL, too.

Yeah, Saturday and Sunday were nice, even though chilly. Yesterday was on and off rain all day, yee hawwwww. Today is nice though, mostly sunny, high of 55 (up to 68 in Kankakee!), not too bad.

Drove through the worst rain I've ever seen on 55 near Springfield Friday evening. Really scary!

I got hit by it in St. Charles. Man oh man was it coming down. I had my wipers on high-speed and they couldnt keep up. There were people pulling off the road left and right. The real downpour only lasted about 5 minutes, and during that time the winds were atrocious, I saw a few branches on the ground. After that, it was smooth sailing, with hardly any rain at all. Odd.
