Yeah there were a lot of people pulled off of the road too, but since we were headed south, southwest and the storm was heading north, northwest we knew we'd have to drive through the heart of it eventually.

Man its too nice outside to come to work today. Bummer. Blue skies, 65 degrees, high of 75. Supposed to rain later on though? Oh well, its gorgeous anyways.

68 yesterday, 74 today, glorious sunshine and a nice breeze. Who can complain? Its P-E-R-F-E-C-T outside, I want to sit next to the lake today and just relax. Oh well, here I type instead. Booo!

Thats what I did when I went to the Cubs game two weeks ago and it was pretty nice that day too.  I had it planned out for weeks. I am lucky it worked out.

80 and sunny today, 80 and sunny tomorrow. Then a cold front moves in and drops temps into the upper 50s/lower 60s for Thursday.

Man it was gorgeous today. 72, sunny and breezy. I think I just heard thunder though? I thought the rain wasnt supposed to come until late tonight?

Clouds and rain are gone, sun is shining, temps are mild and the breeze is perfect. Hard to believe its the same day as this morning when it was gray, chilly with on and off rain.

Yesterday (Friday) and today (Saturday) have been simply gorgeous again. Beautiful sun, nice breeze, temps in the low 70s. Toooooo perfect.
