Some big ol' claps of thunder this morning! Got some good rain here in the western burbs, as well as soaring humidity levels. I believe they said it was supposed to be 90 today! Yuck.

I cant wait till Friday. The warmer the weather - the less the clothing.
Sorry, I had to use "Chicago speak."

This morning is beautiful, though! 73 and sunny, low humidities. Supposed to reach a hot 88 degrees today, moderate humidity, become more humid at night.

WHOA! What a storm, eh???? Man, that sucker was dark and crazy, probably the coolest thunderstorm Ive ever seen. I was on my way out to Elburn to pick up my son after work, decided to pull over and get some shots of this beast.

Dark as night!

The sunset was out of this world. The camera does it no justice whatsoever. First shot is with the flash, hence the reflection on the raindrops...

W/o flash to show the color range:

Ill post my good pictures of the storm on the main IL board and also on the weather board if youre interested, it was incredible!

Steve, I was working tonight so no camera or pictures of the sunset. We were slammed by the storms up here. I seen some red stuff down towards Dubuque right in the IL, WI border. Looked like they had the possibility for tornadoes. The grass has been going into its July ritual lately so hopefully this rain delays it a week.

Hot, Humid and breezy tomorrow! (Friday)

P.S. Great Sunset shot!

I'm just glad I don't work outside. Walking from my building to lunch was fine, but if I did grounds keeping or something, I am sure I'd be pretty miserable.
