It was windy today. I heard that tomorrow we could expect wind gusts 45 to 50 mph and see "flurries" by tomorrow night. The predicted low temp on Monday night is 29 degrees. Here we go!

I saw sleet for about 5 minutes yesterday, followed by some good 60 mph gusts. Yesterday was just odd to begin with. Sunny with no clouds, then cloudy, then sunny, then that big cold front with monster winds/sleet, then sunny again. Today there is not a cloud in the sky and yesterday seemed like some kind of weird dream or something.

Steve-o,
I had the same weird dream! Nice winter weather preview... So do you think that we'll have a very snowy winter?

Well, several days with 70+ degree readings is nice, eh? Feels wonderful outside. A little odd that its November and all, perhaps our Indian Summer came later than normal? In any case, it lets me have a few extra days to find some snakes! lol

I agree, Steve-o. It felt like a summer day to me. Although I do look forward to the cooler fall temps.

First snow of the year today! Some actually stuck on the cars, not the streets though (probably a bit too warm after the morning/afternoon sun). Here it comes! WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO

How about that! The flurries were really coming down at one point this afternoon while I was driving through Burlington, IL.
Looking outside my window now at 10:15pm, all of the cars are lightly covered with snow. Even the grass has a light dusting of snow. It's 33 degrees right now and cold temps are predicted for the week. Winter is on the way.

GRay, gray, gray. Oh well, Turkey day soon and then Christmas and Chanukah, then New Years, then Super Bowl and then the slooow grind of Feb & March. I like 4 seasons, wish summer and early fall were way longer. But, that's the Midwest.
