A crystal clear sunny day today, but brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Today was like a January NIGHT for Pete's sake. What is this? Did someone drug me and put me on a flight to Edmonton or something? Right now its 13 frickin degrees.

It IS cold. But I much prefer the cold sunny days over the 30-40 degree, cloudy, drizzly, damp "seattle" weather we often get.
PS. You probably wouldn't guess but one of my favorite songs is "Here Comes The Sun" by the Fab 4; ya know those insect fellows from Brit-land.

Youve got me lost. Yesterday and most of today was full of brilliant sunshine. But today was ABNORMALLY cold, holy crap! GOt some heavy flakes coming down right now that are sticking well. Its a really powdery snow, so its very light, but very nice looking, too.

Looks like we have a deep freeze on the way tonite, but this morning is rather mild. I'll take 30 any day, 2 degrees predicted for tonite.

Only 104 days til spring.

Central Illinois is a located midway between the Polar ice cap and the southeren sunshine. It's cold, windy and white. The good news is while Peoria had 5" and Bloomington was buried we only had 1' twice. It has been overcast, windy, wet and white in Pekin begining last night. I took some pictures of storm clouds comming in today but at 11pm the roads are dry and I can still see the stop lights a couple of blocks away. It was a near miss.

It is a beautiful sunny morning here south of Chicago! Very cold, though. I'm about to go out for a walk..we'll see how long I can stick it out. Hard to tell what it will actually feel like.
