Ooooh, and your forecast looks sooooo inviting, too. I see all days in the low 50s with lows in the low 40s, many days with rain (accompanied by mass cloud cover and high humidity). Then early next week I see highs in the 50s with lows near freezing. Wow. Im impressed. Im sure so are the people in South Florida/Honolulu/Los Angeles, etc. Mmm hmmm, we're alllllll amazed.

Wow. It came down real good today, didnt it? We probably got 8" in Warrenville, maybe a bit more. My son and I just got back in from building a snowman and having a snowball fight. The snow is perfect for snowballs right now, and the temps are pretty warm (I was sweating buckets--I dressed too warm). Get out and enjoy it, its peaceful as heck out there. In the meantime the wife kicked on the fireplace and Im sippin on an ice cold Leinenkugel's "Fireside Nut Brown" brew. Mmmmm.
A white Christmas it will be!

It is nice out tonight. I just got in.
Strangely the streets are pretty bare of people and cars in Chicago (Lake View at least.) It must be all the transplants are visiting their families.

Enjoy this warm weather, be careful in that nasty fog!

This weather blows. I hate winter rain. Give me Arctic chills over this foggy, cloudy, rainy, 60 degree crap any day. Thats what Spring is for...

I know what you mean, this fog is bad. Less that 1/4 mile visibility.
At least the furnace is getting a break.
