Steven, It sure is cold. We have a user in the Wisconsin forum who posted a picture from his thermometer and it read -22. Yikes! To think folks in International Falls, MN are used to this!

Hey, Josh, it's really cold! It's minus 6 degrees at noon! I would imagine that it must be a bit colder by you. Minus 22 is frigid, wow! I'm ok with the cold temps, it's just surprising when it gets this low.
We're expected to have minus 15 degrees tonight with a wind chill factor between 25 - 40 below! Brrr!

Ive never been this cold in my life. I just spent over an hour trying to get my car started. lol I bought a new battery, still wont start. I put some HEET in the tank, hopefully it will work by morning. Never before has my car not started in the cold. This must be some EXTREME cold to get it to not start. I either flooded it or have a frozen fuel line, its ridiculous. Anyways, I spent a little over an hour outside tonight. I wore my Carhartt one-piece snowsuit, my Old Navy ski jacket over that, and for the first time in my life, I wore a scarf! hahaha Put it this way.... its so cold that my breath that was blowing up into my face from my scarf, froze my eyelashes together! I had frickin ICE on my frickin eyelashes! hahaha
But in any case, I still enjoy this weather, its incredibly unique and almost exhilerating!

Steve-o, I'm very sorry to hear about your car not starting, that's a terrible feeling. Good luck getting it started tomorrow morning. It's a CHILLY minus 12 degrees right now at about 9:30pm!
I took a brisk hike today, wore a scarf over my face and my eyelashes also froze together and my eyebrows were completely covered with ice!
Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to be about 7 degrees and it should warm up into the 20's over the weekend with some snow in the forecast.

I just got home from work- my car's digital read -14. Fortunately it was a short drive home, but plenty of time for my nostrils to freeze. Ack.
Good luck everyone who needs to drive tomorrow; this frigid cold is so hard on vehicles.

This weekend will feel like a heat wave compared to this week! Temps will be in the 20's and maybe some snow.
Did you get your car started, Steve-o? Mine complained a bit this morning but finally turned over. It's still really cold outside, zero right now.

No, still wont start, thanks for asking though! Its being a finicky little wench. It cranks, but wont light. I think I flooded it yesterday, which means I have to pull the plugs this weekend and see if I cant clean them off.
I just got back in from outside, its not that bad! Its still cold, but those skies are sooooo blue and the clouds are amazing looking. Ill try and upload the pictures later.
