The humidity is down to 50% now here in Portage. Today is gorgeous, slight breeze. 84 degrees. Beautiful blue skies with my favorite cumulous clouds. Ahhhh, summer in the great lakes.

Same here, but was 88 degrees out here today. Humidity is vastly lower than yesterday, but still a tad too sticky for my tastes. Incredible skies though.

Captured this sundog (rainbow-ish color refractions in the clouds) today. Gorgeous.

Weather was glorious today, was in low 80s in Waukegan and Antioch, and nice and sunny. The lake down the street from my house has retreated and the intersection has reappeared in its place.

I hear ya! Im already about to throw the towel in.

Here summer... here is my white flag flying high.

Over 90 degrees here today with pretty high humidity on top of it all. The sun could melt the concrete today it seemed, brutally hot. One bank showed 95 degrees, another 97 degrees.

Oppressive heat and humidity here today...we had some quick blow up storms last night that put a good show on(wicked looking straight lightning over and over.....beautiful from a distance),but missed us...supposedly rained nearly 3" just 8 miles east of me while not even settling the dust here.

The bank on the way home said 100 degrees and I believe it. The humidity died down during the peak heat hours, so it lessened the effects a bit, but that sun... oh my.

lol. Steve, those bank temps always remind you of how hot it is. We hit 94 here today. We have a heat index right now @ 10:18 PM of 89. Wow, we had a tornado touch down by Janesville, just a single cell. Very odd.

Any idea when we get our normal June temps back? I'd like to have my 55 degree nights and 75 degree days!
