Renting with pets around here is nearly impossible. We have cats and a large dog, and only found one place willing to rent to us. We are now stuck in a 700sq. ft 2 bedroom apartment with 4 kids until we can find a house to buy. Not to mention it's $700. This is in the west side of Rockford which I do NOT recommend unless you really want to join a gang. This is the best we could find in the whole area.
Durand is a really nice little village. Nice square area. Safe and cozy. I would put an add in their newspaper ISO a place and see if you get any hits. Good luck!

You may have to make a trip out there and look around at FOR RENT signs. (in Rockford). We just bought a home in Freeport, but while looking we saw tons of rentals in both Rockford & Freeport.
